Less Stress, More Joy:
Finding Your Natural Peace of Mind

Plan a relaxing, inspiring retreat that will provide your group with a meaningful, sustainable understanding of how to live, work and succeed, meeting challenges and embracing opportunities, without stress and distress. You will truly find your natural peace of mind, and see how to bring out the best in yourself and those around you. These seminars are designed for groups from 5 to 30. A link to a sample tri-fold brochure and poster is here. We will work with you to design the perfect materials for your group and your occasion.

At the left below is a selection of materials from a recent retreat, indicating the core ideas that are discussed. Each retreat is unique, and planning for each is done with the group involved. These slides simply offer a snapshot of some of the ideas that are always discussed at every retreat. Each retreat is developed and presented in the form most helpful to the particular group. To arrange for a discussion of a seminar or retreat for your group, please "Contact INSPIRE" from the menu to the left.

Where Does Stress Come From?
Where Does it Go?

Why this matters...
All of us want peace of mind.

Sadly, few people truly believe it is accessible to them. So many people are suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, stress, remorse ... The list of painful internal experiences could be painfully long.

In distress, we have looked at people, circumstances and events and felt either discouraged or justified. Given this or that situation, how could we NOT experience the negative feelings we are having? So we soldier on, victims of circumstances, feeling trapped and defined by the things we cannot change and must endure.

INSPIRE offers a different approach to human stress and distress. Thanks to the profound insights of the late philosopher, Sydney Banks, who spent the latter half of his life sharing a fresh logic to explain human experience, there is hope and help for all, no matter their circumstances, no matter how long or how deeply they have felt separated from the possibility of joy and a quiet mind.

The fresh logic is very simple. Life does not happen TO us, with events and circumstances forcing us to think and feel one thing or another. Life happens THROUGH us. Our own nature, the very birthright of humanity, the ability to create our thinking and see it as real, creates our experience. We look at the world, and we think our way through it. Depending on our state of mind, or the level of understanding we have of the role of our own capacity to think and "see" our thinking as real, events and circumstances can look irremediably upsetting -- or not. On one day, I can read the news and become consumed with anger -- so much killing, so much hatred, so much misunderstanding. On another day, I can read the news and be filled with compassion -- so many people innocently caught up in thinking that they do not understand, not realizing how change happens or how easily we could resolve problems.
